From the 1870s onwards, my ancestors came from Caithness, Fife, Edinburgh, Cornwall, Rhyl, Belfast, Isle of Islay and Argyll mainland to make their homes in the thriving riverside community of Govan. The spark and energy of past residents remains in the vibrant atmosphere of Govan today... yeah, well, I can feel it. All accounts are true, unembellished and witnessed by me.
